Accrington Stanley
formed in 1980, playing Beatles songs. This is something they still do
today. Unlike many of the other 'tribute' acts around though, they don't
try to talk or look like the original members. Accrington Stanley have done many different things with Beatles music. This includes playing the whole of Sergeant Pepper and Abbey Road live, an evening of John Lennon songs and another dedicated to Paul McCartney. Those who enjoy the sounds of the Beatles will certainly enjoy Accrington Stanley. |
